OMT has studied bearing failure analysis in vibrating screen, stone crusher and other vibrating machinery with eccentric motion which creates heavy impact load and higher vibration. This results in higher running temperature, evaporation of lubrication and friction in the bearing which shortens the bearing life.
OMT introduces SLA series spherical roller bearings for this application which ensures longer bearing life and withstands higher impact load.
1. Material: SAE 52100
2. Roller: Slightly harder than bearing rings and enable for high impact load
3. Clearance: Used C4 clearance which ensure residual clearance and avoid direct friction between roller & rolling track
4. Rolling track of rings: Highly lapped to ensure smoothness and reduce friction
5. Running temperature: It is 20% lesser than other normal bearing due to modified clearance and rolling tracks
6. Cage: Uses thicker brass cage
7. Tolerance: P0 class and P6 class
