Self-lubricated (Oilless) Bearing are the bearings working without lubricant or with marginal lubricant during the operation; hence also called plain sliding bearing, metal polymer wrapped bearing, dry bearing, self lubricating bearing or maintenance free bearing.
OMT has a wide range of pre-lubricating maintenance-free bearing solutions which are available in carbon steel, stainless steel, and bronze with PTFE, POM, Graphite or other sliding layers. Also, some special thermoplastic bearings are available.
OMT has studied bearing failure analysis in vibrating screen, stone crusher and other vibrating machinery with eccentric motion which creates heavy impact load and higher vibration. This results in higher running temperature, evaporation of lubrication and friction in the bearing which shortens the bearing life. OMT introduces SLA series spherical roller bearings for these application which ensures longer bearing life and withstands higher impact load.
